Park on the street, trail begins at the dead end

Today was a quick hike to grab some more of the geocaches that I had not yet found in Thousand Oaks.  Found a short trail that has some nice views of Thousand Oaks and set out.

Turn left here. Right would take you to the main Wildwood Park

This is a nice short trail that heads up a small bluff overlooking the city and the college nearby. Some nice rock formations in the cliffs here and just enough elevation to get a small workout.  I followed the main trail between the bluffs and ventured off on a few game trails for caches and some good viewpoints.

Heading to the edge of one of the bluffs

On the way back to the car

Directions:
From the 101 Freeway in Thousand Oaks:
Exit Lynn Road and drive west for 5.3 miles to Via Las Brisas
Turn Right onto Via Las Brisas and continue for 0.2 miles to Paseo Santa Rosa
Turn Right onto Paseo Santa Rosa and make an immediate left onto Paseo Santa Cruz
Park in the cul-de-sac. The trailhead is across the street on the other side of Via Las Brisas

This was just a real quick hike to grab a couple geocaches. From the car I headed down Via Las Brisas a little bit, then retraced my steps and hopped on the trail.

Easy elevation and no steep hills, you  can follow this trail across all of Dos Vientos and it links up with several other trails in the area. Today I was just in search of a couple geocaches so I kept it short. After venturing down the trail about half a mile or so to the last cache, I headed back to the car. Short and simple today.
