Directions: 
From the 101 Freeway in Thousand Oaks:
Exit Wendy Dr and head south for 1 mile to Borchard Rd
Turn Right onto Borchard Road and continue for 0.5 miles to Reino Rd
Turn Left onto Reino Rd and continue 0.6 miles to Kimber Dr
Turn Right onto Kimber Dr and continue 0.6 miles to the dead end
Park on the street, trailhead will be on your right.

Another quick hike in the Dos Vientos neighborhood of Newbury Park.  This is a nice short trail with good views of Boney Mountain and provides decent elevation gain in a short hike.

 The trail begins with a short walk between some houses, then takes you up a steep hill to a nice viewpoint. From here it meanders through the hills until it goes down some switchbacks and ends in a Dos Vientos neighborhood.  At this point I simply retraced my steps back to my car. Nice short hike with good views of the area.
