Park in the main parking lot for Del Prado Park and trail will be at the southwest corner

Just a short hike around this little trail and then circling back through the park to grab a few geocaches.  Easy trail with very little elevation gain and some nice views of Dos Vientos and the park below.  I followed the entire trail, heading from the parking lot up the hills and looping back down to where it ends in the park. From here I simply walked back across the park to my car in the parkiing lot.

Just a quick hike after work near my house. Nothing much to write about here and no pictures taken, just an easy walk on a trail that you can continue further on to connect to the Los Robles Trail system that traverses the entire length of Thousand Oaks.
Today was just a quick hike to continue my journey to 1000 days.

Park on the street, trail starts at the dead end.

Today I was after more geocaches, so I set out to do a loop counterclockwise through this area. Starting at the trailhead, I headed on the trail that heads downhill to the right and heads south on the side of the hill. Along the way you may spot this old abandoned car on the hillside.
Free parking?
After the old car, continue on the trail until it turns east and heads uphill. From here the going is steep, all the way to the top of the hill, where it rollercoasters back down and up again on very steep terrain. Not a hike for a hot sunny day or for the little ones.
Great views of the Conejo Valley
